MECHANICAL ENGRAVING

MECHANICAL ENGRAVING

The most classical engraving techniques on metal surfaces. Images, logos, texts, etc. can be transferred to metal surfaces via mechanical process with the need of a tool. Mechanical engraving can be embossed or debossed. The embossing process adds a 3D quality.

LASER ENGRAVING

LASER ENGRAVING

A method of decoration that has recently had a strong impact on the market due to the highly "laserable" properties of aluminium and offers quick and low-cost results compared to other more conventional ink printing techniques. Laser can be applied on aluminium post or pre anodizing and can mark very small patterns and texts.

INK DECORATIONS

INK DECORATIONS

Screen Printing: On anodized aluminium finishes, screen printing can be done in one colour.
Pad Printing: An ink technique specially recommended for texts.
Hot Stamping: Hot stamping is a dry printing method. This technique has recently been developed to be applied also to metal surfaces.

LABELLING

LABELLING

Labelling provides the possibility of customizing packaging at very reasonable cost. FLOSTY has developed an automatic labelling system for aluminium caps. The system applies to adhesive paper labels, plastic and leather labels, and other materials.

BRUSHING

BRUSHING

Brushing is a finish effect applied on the piece before the anodizing process. Brushing gives aluminum a distinctive look by adding a unidirectional pattern of lines parallel to the natural brushing direction. Brushed finish looks as if the texture was made with a wire brush.

LACQUERING

LACQUERING

Lacquering is a treatment used to improve the finish and add colour with a layer of powder paint. The in-line lacquering facility supplies a wide range of lacquering solutions: high gloss, semi- mat, soft touch and protective coatings.
